AMEN

AMEN

So the world is a crazy mixed up place full of religion, the backbone of civilization. I hope most people are tolerant of other people’s beliefs. I know I am, that is until someone uses it to get in my face.

Born into the Lutheran Faith, I have mixed in with most of the big names.  I Converted to a Catholic (that is a whole other story), have a small amount of Jewish in the family, hung with the Methodist, spent time with the Muslims (before I knew what that meant), traveled with Mormons, had dinner with Hindus (both wives, same home), visit Buddhist temples from time to time, and live part of the year with people of no organized religion.

I do not attend church as much as I use to, but feel as close to my faith more now than ever. I live and travel to places surrounded by incredible beauty, including the company I keep. Maybe the farmer in me is just a little closer to the wonderment of this planet; my religion gives me a foundation to take it all in.
