Every state except Hawaii has gold in the ground. People living in Ca. have it in their backyard. Just a few miles into the San Gabriel Mts. you find everything you need to find gold. Just bring your enthusiasm, muscle and a few tools. Any able body person should ever say there is nothing to do or I can’t find a job. We thought moving tons of rock and sand, in a beautiful mountain setting was pure pleasure. Fresh air, good company, the chance that the next scoop of rock will let you retire. The United States lets you dig a whole and keep what you find. Enjoy the pictures, we had fun taking them. Cha Ching! PS. remember to stop digging, pour a cup of coffee, enjoy your moment.
