March 11, 2011

Remember this day, 2011.

Japans Tsunami. More than 20,000 people died or still missing. Possibly a million people will die from Fukushima.  It changed our lives here in Hawaii too. Our Kona coast was hit the hardest in the hours following Japans carnage. The Fukushima power plant was destroyed, it has continued to infect the entire Pacific Ocean with all kinds of bad stuff, and will for generations. It is so bad that the EPA has stopped monitoring because nothing can be done. No news is better than talking about the worst Nuclear Disaster ever. That is how our Government is handling this event. From all this, Joy & I got to meet some really great people, helped in the clean up and became Hawaii Lifeguards, watching over the people that visit  Kealakekua Bay.
