When you hear the phrase, The city that never sleeps, New York City immediately comes to mind. With the bustling, fast- paced life that the city and its people lives in, time seems to go by quickly with just a quick snap.

All that activity, however, comes to a halt amidst the pandemic COVID-19

Sidewalks that seemed to squeeze people in like a bunch of sardines in a can, suddenly are left bare. This is due to Gov. Cuomo's call on the need for social distancing. On Sunday, March 22nd, Cuomo calls for coronavirus ban on cars from some NYC streets. Before this, however, there was already a notable lack of crowds due to the shift of school and non-essential work to online/ distance learning and work- at- home, consecutively.

So, wonder how NYC looks like now?

To put everything in perspective, a great example to this would be what Times Square looks like now. An area once filled with Tourists and New Yorkers alike passing by, now...

This difference in crowds could already be seen since last week. Watch What New York City Looks Like Now by Youtuber @ericsworld, where he visited several streets of NYC to show the drastic change in crowds, or lack thereof.
