I so appreciated Roy Sendele’s message on freedom and his freedom hammers that allow him to "build any damn thing he wants."
What a great message.
Over the weekend, I had the opportunity to go to a park. I laid back in the grass and looked up through the pine trees to the clear blue sky. I so enjoyed the peacefulness of that simple act.
We, as citizens of this great nation, don’t take enough time to lay back and enjoy the sweet serenity of the natural beauty surrounding us. As I lay there listening to the sound of the breeze as it made its way through the branches, with the birds calling out to one another and the smell of the grass and of the nearby flowers, I thought of Roy’s message on freedom and I said a prayer of thanks. Thanks for the bounty we enjoy, thanks for that moment of peace, of retreat from technology, phones and computers especially!
Thanks for the reminder Roy, Thanks for thr freedom to just to go to the park and relax, thank you for love, thank you to our veterans who have been a large part of making and keeping this opportunity a reality.
