In today's day in age, with the use of the Internet, brick and mortar stores are slowly diminishing. With the decline of physical stores, the ability to shoplift decreases drastically. Individuals no longer have physical access to items, therefore, eliminating the ability to physically walk away with items not paid for. There is one specific item, that remains both the world's bestselling and most shoplifted. It is discussed and debated, all over the world, it is also a topic some individuals would rather avoid discussing altogether. Discussing it brings out the best in some, and the worst in others. The item is informative, historical, psychological, relevant and widely controversial. Before revealing what the item is, I'll give you a hint about it, it is something you can read, a book. We will now dive into facts about it.  


According to Guinness World Records, it is the best-selling book of all time, with over 5 billion copies sold as of 2015. While there is only one VERSION of this book, there are many different translations of it. There are approximately 450 translations of this book, allowing the reader to select the one that they can best understand. This book has also been written into many different languages. 633 languages have the full book translated into their native language, while approximately 1,500 additional languages have the second half of the book translated for them. The Bible holds truths that should be explored by every individual and is filled with life-changing convictions that honestly are not easy to abide by. Societies way of doing life that largely contradicts how life is supposed to be lived according to God's way. The Bible is a living and breathing word, or as I have heard it before, it is a love letter from the creator to the created. The Bible does instruct us not to steal, or lust over things that do not belong to us, so instead what one can do is ask for the copy. Often time churches are happy to provide individuals with Bibles. Another option could be renting it from a library, or finding online copies to read. Lastly, one could read the Bible when they are in the bookstore, but leave it there when they depart from the store. The Bible is the instruction manual to how life is supposed to be lived a instructs humanity how to love and be loved by our creator.
