Over the weekend, I've learned some very disturbing facts.
According to the Food and Drug Administration, the agency provides guidelines for food processors.
They get to decide what is considered "natural or unavoidable defects in foods that present no health hazards for humans"
But I guess the FDA doesn't think its dangerous, gross, and inappropriate to have up to 4 rat hairs in your food!
Not only that, the FDA allows up to 3 milligrams of mammalian excreta (mouse poop) per pound!
How is it that this is not considered a "health hazard for humans?" yikes.
