I don't think anyone could have predicted the San Francisco Giants would go from having the best record in baseball midway through the season to the utter disintegration of the team since the All-Star break
How does that happen? How do professional players lose focus so completely with only a few games left?
I'm sure those questions will continue to be asked long after the upcoming World Series is in the record books.
I thought we were headed for a third win. Oh well, maybe next year.
