Fertility Partnership Had A Great Post-Covid Reopening

The St. Louis Orthopaedic Surgeons, a non-profit, not-for-profit affiliated with The Fertility Partnership has also been ordered to resume operating and resume social distancing protocols.
Context for The Fertility Partnership (1/19/2019)
The St. Louis Family Planning Coalition is an area chapter of The Fertility Partnership, an organization dedicated to providing information, education, and referrals for those seeking to conceive and/or plan for a family. Fertility is deeply personal. It requires each couple to figure out its own unique path, one that requires constant effort from both parties. The desire to build a family is universal. The desire to have a child is biblical in nature. Fertility Professionals provide services to meet each client’s individual needs.

We are proudly reopening our tablet and appointments system, and reviewing our procedures to determine what steps we might need to take to ensure we protect the public and ensure the cost of IVF is reasonable.
We would like to extend a major thank you to our patient partners, public health partners, and our community partners. You have weathered the storm with grace and dignity as we grieve and rebuild. Finally, to the couples and prospective parents who still do not know where to turn or how to find equity during this time: We are here to help. We will continue to post updates as we learn more about this pandemic pregnancy and delivery landscape. Only when we know the full extent of the devastation and the long term impact of our disruption to our way of life will we be able to have the humility to offer the help our community so desperately needs a St. Louis Fertility Clinic.

Dr. Simackes we are still taking appointments and making sure the proper informed patients get on the phone with physicians and specialists.
The hope is that over time that fits into today’s society is to make The Fertility Partnership an in-person appointment medicine model, where patients can come in to see their physician and ask questions about their reproductive health, their whole reproductive system and their health in general. Patients can bring their own physicians, nurses, or other reproductive health specialists if they so choose. Patients can also call or email if they prefer, but we will unfortunately not have interpreters available on-site. We are pleased to say that our recent insurance authorization, which took place early Friday morning, was processed well within our 5-day turnaround. We have been accepted onto private insurance and have been given a year to build our model to work in the public sector. This was an incredibly difficult decision to make and was the most difficult we have made since we started. We hope to be fully-staffed and open again soon. A donation or referral to help pay for our costs while we are closed is greatly appreciated.
The 7 Deadly Cures/Enlightenment is a documentary film that spotlighted its host, Rob King, an ophthalmologist who, despite having four children within a decade, learned to control the fertility cycle. Using both audio and visual media, the documentary tied together several scientific findings to help narrate the “7 Deadly Cures” and visit the “Enlightenment”.
The Fertile Compass is an ophthalmology practices of husband and wife team Dr. Saundra King and Dr. Delilah Simckes, both board-certified visual physicians, who have worked in St. Louis and the surrounding region specializing in cosmetic and reconstructive ophthalmology and vision science. The Fertile Compass is a nontoxic, fluoride-free optician-recommended practice offering a wide range of services including significantly improved vision, improved eyesight and comfort level with vision correction in the comfort of your own home.
