If you're thinking about getting eyelash extensions, I'm here to tell you it's worth it. If you don't know what eyelash extensions are, it's an application process in which a light-weight eyelash extension is attached to each of your real lashes in order to give a fuller look. There different types of lash extensions to choose from to fit your liking. For example, there's a classic look which gives you a natural yet enhanced look. There's also hybrid, volume, and mega volume. Volume and mega volume tend to give you a more dramatic look with the lashes. The different types of styles you can choose from to fit your eye shape or preference are natural eye, open eye, cat eye, and doll eye. Typically, eyelashes last for about three to four weeks until you need to get a refill. A refill is basically getting your lash extensions done again because individual lash extensions tend to fall out slowly through the weeks. In order to keep them looking full and fresh, they do need to be refilled depending on how sparse your lashes start to look.
Now you know the basics about lash extensions! I've been having lash extensions for about two years now. Lash extensions can be expensive depending on where you go to get your lashes done. If you love wearing false lashes, I feel like you might like to stick to wearing false lashes because it's a lot cheaper and you can take them off right away. As someone who doesn't wear a lot of makeup and hates putting on false lashes with all my heart, I can say lash extensions are really worth it for me. It saves me a lot of time when getting ready in the morning and it allows me to just walk out of the house on those lazy days without putting makeup on. I usually go for a doll eye style with volume to mega volume lash extensions because it enhances my eye shape a bit. In order to maintain them, I clean them every day using a brush with either a little baby shampoo mixed with water or a lash cleanser. Cleaning them keeps them from falling out faster and ruining your real lashes.
