Zuckerberg Talks About Scandal

Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg apologized for how the social media giant handled the fallout from the Cambridge Analytica data scandal, CNN reports. “This was a major breach of trust and I’m really sorry this happened,” Zuckerberg said in an interview with the news outlet. In an interview with Recode, the Facebook founder said he was open to testifying before Congress regarding how Facebook uses member's data. He was criticized earlier for not apologizing in a Facebook post, the first time he commented on the matter. In his written apology, the CEO said he would implement a number of changes, including limiting user data shared with developers and removing access for apps that haven’t been used in three months.
