Communication in a Workplace

One way to determine the success of an organization is how effective and efficient their communication is amongst each other and their clients. Effective communication illustrates how employees accomplish their organization’s objectives and how they coordinate actions and decisions to achieve desired results or goals. Ineffective communication can be costly in terms of money and in time. It may consequently lead to misunderstandings amongst an organization which results in an increased number of setbacks, including missed deadlines, wrong information shared, and distanced relationships. Managing communication includes: providing feedback, managing employees and making sure they comply with their job description, sharing emotion, persuading, and exchanging information. It is a main priority in organizations and businesses because effective and good communication helps them thrive. Not only does it benefit the company by setting good relationships amongst the employees, it also allows room for creativity to be shared and brainstorming becomes more effective.
