Univision Offloading Fusion?

Univision is looking to divest Fusion Media Group — parent company of sites including Gizmodo and Deadspin — as the company restructures under new leadership, The Wall Street Journal reports, citing anonymous sources. A spokesperson for Univision declined to offer comment to WSJ. The move comes just two years after Univision acquired Gawker Media for $135 million after the company was hit with a lawsuit by Terry Bollea (a.k.a. Hulk Hogan), TechCrunch notes. Univision folded Gawker's brands into its Fusion unit. In June, Univision appointed former Media General CEO Vincent Sadusky as its new CEO, replacing Randy Falco. The shift came after Univision ditched plans to go public earlier this year.
