What is Dinosaur game?

A one-of-a-kind online game created and integrated within the Google Chrome web browser, Dinosaur Game goes by more names than just Chrome Dino. As part of the Google Chrome Experiment initiative, which aims to generate fresh and original content for the Chrome web browser, this game has been included.

A brief overview

Players will be transported to a visually captivating yet simplistic environment throughout the game. In this game, you take charge of a tyrannosaur—more precisely, a T-Rex—and guide it through treacherous environments.

Playing dinosaur game is one of its standout features. This game can still be accessed even when the internet is down; all a player needs to do is open Chrome, look for the dinosaur icon on the connection loss notification box, and click on it.

Even though it has simple controls, this game is quite fun to play. The objective is to get as far as possible while controlling the dinosaur, which requires hopping and crouching to overcome obstacles.

Being one of the most played games on Chrome, the game has garnered a lot of attention from online players because to its user-friendly UI and appropriate soundtrack.

Methodology for creation

The creative and innovative process that went into making Dinosaur Game was a watershed moment for the online browser game industry. Launched in 2014, this game was conceived and developed by members of Google's Chrome UX team, including Alan Bettes, Edward Jung, and Sebastien Gabriel.

"Project Bolan" was an experimental initiative that the game was originally a part of. It was named after T. Rex musician Marc Bolan. The game's creators originally intended for it to be a fun distraction for Chrome browser users who were experiencing connection issues.
