He Jiang’s Harvard commencement address has reminded me to think about the Artificial Intelligence Moving Literacy which UBrain Foundation is working on.
He Jiang began his address with a childhood story. He was bitten on the hand by a poisonous spider and his mother treated it with an old foil cure by setting his hand on fire rather than going to see a doctor. That happened in a remote area in
One of the purposes that the UBrain Moving Literacy project is to help people who are living in a remote and poor area like He Jiang’s parents and can get along with the modern technology. How could it happen?
UBrain Moving Literacy (Smart Phone) can absolutely provide help when it comes out soon. This device has the feature of Artificial Intelligent Voice, similar as Vivi , Tuling and some other advanced voice software. People can get help though the voice and find a way to solve this problem even they can not read and write.
Studying at Harvard, made He Jiang see how scientific discovery could help others in simple ways and got him thinking of the uneven distribution of science and technology in the modern world and wondering what scientists could do to change the situation.
Sharing the slogans of UBrain Mobile Literacy that“Help mother and children to shake off poverty with modern technologies”; and that“Join us in our efforts to make the world a more equitable place”.
“No charity is more urgent than popularizing knowledge worldwide. No service is greater than helping human beings to enjoy good-quality life with knowledge”.
