California! Where dreams (allegedly) come true! For so many years, people saw California, specifically Southern California, as the ultimate goal. Live by the beach, go skiing, maybe even get famous! Let's face it, when you live here, you barely do anything that you brag to your out-of-state friends about. We have all of these museums, beaches, mountains, attractions, and we only go when someone comes to visit. But why should we stay in this state? Cost of living is ridiculous, gas cost so much you have to save a paycheck before you fill up, and don't even get me started on earthquakes!
Honestly, I didn't want to move here in the first place, but now, I kind of don't want to leave. I've gotten comfortable, I have a very fuel efficient car, I have roommates so the costs are minimal. I do miss my family though.
