Once there was a very naughty village boy. He used to play around with people by making fun of them and fooling them around. One day he thought of an idea to irritate the villagers. In the middle of the night when all the villagers were asleep, he went out and shouted wolf! Wolf! Please help! Please help! All the villagers came to kill the wolf with their sticks and weapons. But when they reached the spot, the boy laughed and said how he befooled them. The angry villagers went back. The next day the boy did the same and the villagers again came and went angrily. The boy repeated. One day the wolf came actually but when the boy shouted for help nobody believed him. In this way, the boy got killed due to his mischievous act.
5. Ants and grasshopper
There used to live a lazy grasshopper who enjoyed throughout the year and did no work. Ants were living nearby who worked hard all year round and saved food for winters. The grasshopper made fun of them by telling them that there is no use to work so hard for winters. When winters came the grasshopper starved for there was nothing to eat. He fell sick and the ants came to rescue him and gave him shelter and food to eat. This way the grasshopper realized how important it is to work hard.
