We have the ocean in front of us and we have forest behind us.
We spend much of our time playing in the ocean, but just recently we climbed the back fence to explore the mountain. It is a little more involve than just exploring, you have to cut your way through the jungle/forest to make way. After about a week of following cow trails and cutting new, we found and old road/footpath. Now this is all just a 15 min walk from the back of our home, but a world away. We discovered a cleared 25 acre land, two abandoned farm houses & a barn. The treat was new entrances to caves that we have yet to explore. This is ancient land, touch last by the bare feet of Hawaiian/ farmers, hunters, Warriors. We walk every evening before sunset, always looking for the pleasure of discovery. We never seem to be disappointed. Aloha
