Blogger Yanely Espinal says personal finance should be taught as a topic in high schools, similar to biology and math in order to level the playing field for students who don't get lessons from their parents. Recently, 87% of respondents surveyed by Equifax aged 18-29 said "yes" when asked if personal finance should be a required high school course.
