The Edge’s
spacious cottage is suitable for four adults and is a comfortable place to get
to and from work. The material for the entire cabin was chosen very well, but
the panel fit and finish may be better; we noticed some misaligned dashboard
components in our test vehicle. Otherwise, the interior design is simple and
low-key, providing plenty of space for people and items.
Technology
enthusiasts should plan to upgrade their Edge to include the Sync 3
infotainment system because the small screen and single USB port of the base
system will not be met. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto can also be integrated
into this package and add another layer of connectivity. Wi-Fi hotspots are
standard in the series - new features in 2019.When the rear seats are folded,
the Edge can hold up to 29 carry-on suitcases. Its competitors are very well
matched in the cargo hold, but Edge's thoughtful storage compartment and
slightly more spacious cabin may have an impact on the deal.
