It's the last year of college and nerves are running high as graduation rolls around. Each day comes with new challenges and new fears as adulthood starts to creep up. Being in school is all we've known since we were 5 years old and now we are expected to graduate and take on this new role of being an adult. Buying textbooks, all nighters, and $1 Ramen noodles quickly turns into getting home insurance, paying taxes, and business casual. We are never taught to prepare ourselves for this transition--it happens abruptly as we're thrown into the harsh world of adulthood. Instead of learning how to do taxes in college, we are taught how to measure a triangle's acute angle. We are never groomed for adulthood. As the days go by and graduation becomes more of a reality, we should spend more of our time learning how to adult instead of partying the nights away. We need to learn how to do better and become the adults we want to be in college.
