Kuma Coin is setting the
bar high with a goal of helping 1 million children in need and beyond worldwide
with the launch of a charity token on the Binance Smart Chain (BSC). The Kuma Coin project is particularly unique
in that a novel transaction fee structure and an NFT marketplace will allow
funds to be raised for donation to various charities focused on helping
children in need while also rewarding token holders with redistributions and empowering
them with the capacity and influence to help children in need worldwide.
The driving force behind
the Kuma Coin team stems from their goal of helping children in need globally
that are faced with atrocities such as trauma, abuse, hunger, poverty,
illiteracy, poor health care, and sex trafficking among other inhumanities. The
plague of poverty affects 1 billion children worldwide in a multi-dimensional
capacity leaving them without access to education, health, housing, nutrition,
sanitation or water where 356 million of these children live in extreme poverty
and are forced to survive on less than $1.90 a day. The COVID-19 pandemic has
intensified this issue and resulted in a 15% increase in household poverty
around the world.
Other problems faced by
children in the world create a necessity for providing assistance to children
with a multitude of needs. In 2020, a global average of 22% of children, 0-3
years of age, suffered from stunted growth due to malnutrition of which the
effects can last a lifetime. In 2019, 81% of children from 1-14 years of age
experienced violent discipline (psychological aggression and/or physical
punishment) in the least developed countries of the world. There are also over
40 million victims of human trafficking globally today, of which 25% are
children. With the children of planet earth in such dire need of various levels
of assistance, the help that Kuma Coin aims to provide will not focus on any
need in particular but sets out to help as many children as possible in any way
possible
Kuma Coin will digitally
battle these malicious contenders through donating and partnering with
charities that also share the same focus of helping children in need. Their unique fee
structure includes the concept of a charity wallet that a portion of all
transaction fees will go to where donations will be made in two forms: the
first is a donation of coins as part of the Kuma Coin Charity Partnership Program
(KCPP) and the other is a monetary donation. An NFT marketplace will also be
available with a variety of options for buying and selling where 50% of the
marketplace fee will go to a specific NFT charity wallet in order to boost
donation capability.
Other aspects of Kuma Coin include an
anti-whale mechanism that will assist in preventing the purchase or sale of a
large portion of the token supply. After the initial presale, all buy or sell
single transactions will be limited to a maximum of 0.5% of the total token
supply.
Kuma Coin will release their whitelist on June
8th and subsequently start pre-sale on June 22nd via
unicrypt. They will be publicly traded on pancake swap but will also put in
applications to other exchanges later this year. The first donation made by
Kuma Coin as well as launch of their NFT marketplace is scheduled for Q3 and
they are in the process of working with various charities to set up future
partnerships. An iOS and Android app will also be available in Q4 that will
allow the community to track the Kuma Coin price, obtain statistics about the
charity wallet and NFT charity wallet such as amount and transaction history,
vote on items such as future partnership selection, and receive updates on the
progress of the Kuma Coin project.
