Astrology

In 3,200-500 BC in Mesopotamia, the zodiac was created and comprised of 12 signs. It was then taken over by the Greeks in 500 BC, where a western version of the astrology system was introduced. Its purpose was to originally help in state affairs while casting fortunes of men and women. Each person has a zodiac sign that corresponds to the period their birthday lays in. The 12 zodiacs in order are Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Saggitarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, and Pisces. Each zodiac sign presents different personalities, characteristics, and talents.

We are currently in Virgo season, which is from August 23rd to September 23rd. With zodiac signs being apart of the astrology sign, it goes more in-depth than just knowing what your sign is and your qualities. Each person is actually more than one zodiac sign. The sun sign is the main zodiac sign that corresponds to your birthday. The sun determines your identity, ego, and "role" in life. The two other important signs not many people know about are rising and moon. The rising sign is how you present yourself and how you come off to people. The moon sign shapes your feelings, moods, and emotions. The rising and moon signs can only be found if you know your birth time and location of birth. There are also more signs a person can hold based on the planets. In order to know your other astrological signs, you can find websites that will give you an in-depth explanation of yourself.

My birthday is on September 18th, which means my zodiac sign is a Virgo sun. I found my moon and rising sign by using the app Co-Star, which showed me my astrology in detail. I'm a rising Capricorn and a Virgo moon. The Co-Star app allows you to connect with friends and their astrology signs, where you get to see your compatibility with them. It's a fun and interesting app, where it makes you realize things you never did about yourself. There are a decent amount of people who are skeptical about astrology and think it's meaningless and has no influence on people. If you give it a try and read all about it yourself, you could find it interesting and maybe true!
