So, I bet most of those kids have no idea that Cell Phones did not always fit in your pocket and have the entire world of knowledge packed inside. Here is a picture of the mobile phone we carried on our Paramedic Fire Engine. It was heavy because of the battery and it only could communicate with the base hospital. There was no texting and no one else to call. We even needed a map to find where we had to go, all this only a few short years ago in time.
