All donations of vehicles made at Give Hope A Ride are tax deductible. Our Foundation has been designated by the IRS as a 501c (3) charity. Consult with a tax professional on how to maximize your tax deduction, since each vehicle donation and tax situation is unique. In general, the IRS limits the deduction of taxes to gross income from the sale of the automobile, truck or other vehicle. Charitable contributions must be detailed on Schedule A of Form 1040 to qualify.
